Why we started this
These are Blackrock Research's inaugural rankings. We created them because the subscription and payments economies lacked an independent, peer-validated recognition of the people and companies actually shaping the market — not pay-to-play lists, not popularity contests. Our process combines verified peer nominations with an independent advisory review so recognition is earned through influence and evidence.
Final honorees for the 2026 lists will be announced publicly and celebrated at an exclusive private gala at the Four Seasons New York in April 2027, reserved for recognized honorees, the advisory board, and invited financial media.
